Okay, it’s only one slide, but for those who haven’t heard this song since the 70’s, it will be a welcome sight. “Disco Mouse” is an updated version of “The Mickey Mouse March”, written by 50’s Mouseketeer Jimmie Dodd. This version features five of the 70’s Mouseketeers: Allison, Kelly, Lisa, Curtis, and Scott. It debuted on episode #68, a Monday. The episode also included a behind-the-scenes look at the recording. Later that month, the song also appeared on American Bandstand‘s “Rate a Record”, but got low scores for sounding like a kid’s record.
